No Orbyn VPN account is required
The current Orbyn VPN app does not create user accounts or profiles. You do not provide a name or email address to use the VPN, so there is no app account to close.
How to submit a deletion request
You do not need to reinstall or open the app. Send the request from any email account you control.

Tell us what to delete
State whether your request concerns support messages, diagnostic information, or all personal data under our control. Include the approximate date you used or contacted Orbyn VPN.
Add only useful technical details
If the request concerns diagnostics, you may include your Android version, Orbyn VPN app version, and approximate date of the event. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, browsing history, or traffic content.
Receive confirmation
We will acknowledge the request and normally complete a verified request within 30 days. We will tell you if law permits or requires additional time.
What we can delete
After a valid request, we will delete or de-identify personal data under our control that we can reasonably identify, including:
- support emails, attachments, and related support records;
- privacy-request correspondence after the request and any required recordkeeping period are complete; and
- identifiable diagnostic or connection-reliability data that can be located from the information you provide.
Orbyn VPN does not retain browsing history, DNS query history, traffic content, or destination history, so there are no activity logs of that kind to delete.
Because the app has no user account and diagnostic data is not linked to your name or email address, we may be unable to locate a specific diagnostic record. If so, we will explain that in our response rather than asking for sensitive information.
Data controlled by third parties
Advertising or crash-reporting providers may process information under their own policies. We will pass on a deletion request where we are the controller and can identify the relevant provider record. You can also reset or delete your Android Advertising ID and manage Google advertising privacy choices through your device or Google account settings.
Remove data stored on your Android device
You can remove Orbyn VPN's local settings without contacting us:
- Disconnect Orbyn VPN.
- Open Android Settings → Apps → Orbyn VPN → Storage.
- Select Clear storage or Clear data. Menu wording may vary by device.
- To remove the app completely, choose Uninstall.
- If desired, open Android VPN settings and remove the Orbyn VPN configuration.
Clearing local storage or uninstalling does not delete support emails you previously sent. Use the deletion-request process above for data held by us.
Retention exceptions and timing
We normally complete a verified deletion request within 30 days. We may retain limited information when necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, establishing or defending legal claims, or documenting that a privacy request was fulfilled. We will restrict that information to the required purpose and retain it only as long as necessary.
Deleted information may remain in restricted backups for up to 30 additional days before being overwritten. Aggregated or irreversibly de-identified information is not personal data and may be retained.
