Why does Orbyn VPN ask for VPN permission?
Orbyn VPN uses Android's VpnService API to create its core device-level encrypted tunnel. Android requires your approval before an app can become the active VPN. You may cancel the system request; the tunnel will not start.
Why is a key or VPN icon visible on my device?
Android displays a system VPN indicator while a VPN connection is active. It helps you see that eligible network traffic is being routed through Orbyn VPN. Disconnect in the app or Android settings to remove it.
Orbyn VPN will not connect. What should I try?
Confirm that your internet works without the VPN, update Orbyn VPN and Android, try another available server region, and restart the app. Also check whether another VPN, firewall, battery saver, or restricted network is blocking the connection. If the issue continues, email the exact error message, app version, Android version, and server region.
Why does my connection speed change?
Encryption, distance to the VPN endpoint, endpoint capacity, your internet provider, device performance, and local network congestion can all affect speed and latency. Selecting a closer available region may help.
Does Orbyn VPN keep browsing activity logs?
No. We do not store your browsing history, DNS queries, traffic content, or the online destinations you visit through the tunnel. Limited diagnostic information may be processed for reliability, security, and crash troubleshooting as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Does Orbyn VPN use traffic for advertising?
No. We do not use VPN traffic content, browsing history, or destination data to target ads, and we do not redirect or manipulate other apps' traffic for monetization. Advertising SDKs may separately process device and ad-interaction data as disclosed in the Privacy Policy and Google Play Data safety section.
How do I revoke VPN access or remove local data?
Disconnect in Orbyn VPN, then use Android's VPN settings to forget or revoke the VPN configuration if desired. To remove data stored on your device, clear Orbyn VPN's app storage or uninstall the app. For off-device deletion requests, use the Data Deletion page.
Does Orbyn VPN require an account?
No. The current version of Orbyn VPN does not require registration, a name, an email address, or a user profile. You provide an email address only if you choose to contact us.

Why Orbyn VPN uses VpnService.
Android VpnService is required to create Orbyn VPN's device-level encrypted tunnel. Orbyn VPN uses it only after user action and Android approval, and only for the app's stated VPN functionality.
